We are here to help you with your paperwork both before and after your adoption. The adoption home study can be an overwhelming experience for an adoptive family, but it doesn’t have to be!

The adoption home study can be an overwhelming experience for an adoptive family, but it doesn’t have to be! The home study is the foundation of all adoptions. Regardless of where you live or where you plan to adopt, you’ll need to complete a home study. This is a document that contains the story of your life. It includes a description of your home and neighborhood, as well as personal references. It also details your family relationships and your feelings about adoption and parenting.
If the thought of opening up your life to a stranger makes you squeamish, you’re not alone! We are here to make this process easy…almost fun. We are not going to do a “white glove check” or look to see what is under your bed. Rather, we want to make the home study visit informative, educational, and comfortable! We also know you may have many questions about the adoption process. We are here to answer your questions and listen to your concerns.

Post placement visits/reports are required after your child has been placed in your home, prior to your adoption being finalized. The number and frequency of visits will be determined by your adoption agency/attorney. These reports become a part of the court file regarding your adoption. Connecting Hearts Adoption Services visits you and your child in your home to observe how well you and your new addition have adjusted. Becoming a parent is the most rewarding experience and also the most challenging. We are here to support you!

Clients are billed at the time service is rendered therefore, there are no refunds. Cash and check are accepted. We do not accept credit cards.
$100 fee due prior to home visit with application
$900 domestic home study (fee due at home visit)
$1400 expedited home study (report in 5-10 days & fee due at home visit)
$500 home study update (fee due at home visit)
$150 post placement visit (per visit due / each visit to your home)
